If there have been any developments or changes in the CFP format since September 2021, I recommend checking with up-to-date sources for the most current information. There’s four programs left. WSU and OSU might find a home with the Mountain West (Which then might rename itself to the PAC-Whatever) in what would be an effective merger. The ACC is fairly likely to pick them up, I think. This again isn’t good for them, especially Stanford, which is about all the sports except football, but what choice do they have? I fear it’s going to absolutely gut non-football programs, which includes the programs that so many of our Olympians come from. (Also, frankly, Title 9. Biden administration to the white courtesy phone).
