As a lifelong failure, inveterate liar, and toxic narcissist, Trump is exactly as advertised. We used to stay at one of his properties that he frequented. In person he was a very personable and gracious host. I don’t recall him ever saying anything hateful, racist or sexist, though we only made brief small talk. I had occasion back then to speak with various contractors and business associates of his, and heard a lot of horror stories both first and second hand. It seemed like his entire profit model was based on squeezing everything he could out of his contractors and stringing them along until they were destitute and unable to take legal recourse. Some of this has been made public sin Basically, what you see is what He has been. The difference being the style fits the NYC Real Estate scene and I’ve know several like him. Only he also went into entertaining and the “socialite” thing. What most people fail to grasp is the unique qualities that mark a “scene” or cultural subset. Hang with lawyers and ADA’S and you see something not shown on the TV LAW dramas. Hang with artists and filmmakers and it’s a whole different world… and it’s changing. Play the political world and again, totally different.
