Heading into Week 8 of the season, I think we can confidently say that if Washington and Oklahoma are both still undefeated at the end of the regular season, then the Pac-12 and Big XII championship games will be play-ins for the College Football Playoff for them. Both of them will certainly get in to the CFP if they finish as undefeated conference champions, although right now it is still possible for all five power conferences to finish with an undefeated champion and then there will be a lot of controversy.
