Medical care wasn’t as advanced. We’re richer today, and have some toys we didn’t — computers and smartphones, say — though surprisingly, those don’t have an effect on the Shawn spears – not sorry shirt What’s more,I will buy this quality of life — I’m a technophile, but I don’t think my life is any better because of them, some of the old-fashioned stuff was actually fun. We also stood for something — civil rights, opposition to the Vietnam War. And I don’t see much of that today, just people who have been reeled in by the lies of Donald Trump. Families were still stable until the end of the 60s. On one hand, you had people stuck in miserable marraiges, on the other, kids had two parents and married couples had one another in old age. People had less money than they do today and in some cases that caused hardship. But often, we just made do with less. It just didn’t matter that much.

The 2010s cannot be compared fairly to the 1960s as a period of progressive–or “liberal” since liberal wasn’t a dirty word and “progressive” didn’t have quite the same connotation in the ’60s–change. The 1960s saw the introduction of a swath of LBJ’s “Great Society” programs, particularly Medicare. We also saw enactment of huge legislation in the area of civil rights, and the decade capped off by putting men on the moon.
