Honestly, I don’t see any harm in the Original death to all of them shirt and by the same token and same unless it’s really softened in the same way as having a simpler blouse and double top; It will help you stand out from the crowd without distracting the bride. I know a lot of times people want to re-wear their bridal lehenga for occasions, but if styled nicely you can take advantage of so many uses of your bridal/heavy lehenga.
Sure. But the Original death to all of them shirt and by the same token and jacket really should be a casual sports jacket. One of the worst looking things IMO is a vest jacket worn like a sports jacket. To be considered a sports jacket cannot be elegant and sophisticated. It can’t be a plain or striped knitted sweater. It needs the usual details like thick textured fabric, plaid pattern, patch pockets, elbow patches, contrast buttons, unstructured chest or shoulders, etc.
