Honestly, I don’t see any harm in the Original death to all of them shirt and by the same token and same unless it’s really softened in the same way as having a simpler blouse and double top; It will help you stand out from the crowd without distracting the bride. Sure. But the Original death to all of them shirt and by the same token and jacket really should be a casual sports jacket. One of the worst looking things IMO is a vest jacket worn like a sports jacket. To be considered a sports jacket cannot be elegant and sophisticated. It can’t be a plain or striped knitted sweater. It needs the usual details like thick textured fabric, plaid pattern, patch pockets, elbow patches, contrast buttons, unstructured chest or shoulders, etc.
