Where it is needed the most is in baseball, specifically the strike zone. But, the Umpires Union won’t go for that. Mostly yes. But there are times when you just don’t want to see a goal go to instant replay. Then there are those time when you do want to see it. (Cough cough game 7 Knights VS. Sharks!!!) But mostly it’s just fine. You can learn from it just by seeing the mistake. Not by doing it. I think they use it properly. Particularly in NCAA athletics. They can challenge a controversial ruling. Its actually used pretty well in my opinion. They do! It is used to challenge line calls, which are now often being done using technology instead of line judges in big tournaments.
