I truly believe Zhang won the fight against Hrgovic, but both fighters fall short of elite good. Zhang has a heavy punch, and reasonable skill, whilst not getting any younger, I do not see him reaching the elite level, like lots of big heavyweights, gasses in the second half of a fight. He is not the tallest, and probably will fight best at around 220lbs – so wont be like the giants, but holds other great advantages. He was unified CW champion and was an Olympian so has the core background and came up through the Ukranian system, which is excellent. Other unified CW champs coming up were notably Evander Holyfield and David Haye, both of which became HW champs, so the lineage says he should do well.
Aside from Fury then there are no real pure boxers in the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Logo Vibe T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this division, and although I highly rate Fury he isnt as good a pure boxer as Usyk, so it will be interesting to see how he gets on. I think he could really surprise the division kingpins and will have his eyes firmly set on AJ, and he is capable of beating AJ under the right circumstances. When assessing the potential of a highly touted, young & upcoming prospect — the main limiting variable is his ability to take a hit… This factor may even be more significant in the heavyweight division, given the big boys hit that much harder than the lower divisions.
