Below, I’ve ranked the Big 3 for each team, based on my assessment of the players’ advanced statistics (PER, WS, VORP, etc.). I bucketed the teams into tiers given the inexact “science” of these ranking exercises. The rankings mostly correlate with the overall performance of the teams, highlighting the importance of a roster’s top 3 players in today’s NBA. Some notable exceptions include Boston, Houston, and New Orleans.
