The most radical versions of Person A and Person B both have moral and philosophical commitments to very strong points of view: A radical version of person B is probably also ignoring facts brought up by person A because of a philosophical commitment to traditional society, or a defense of those values. Person B thinks that even if there is a bias against African Americans, it has to be insignificant because those values being defended must be right. A radical version of person A thinks facts brought up by person B are inherently wrong because of a philosophical and moral commitment to all people and cultures being absolutely equal in every possible way. Even if those facts are real they should be ignored because the facts are racist. People who come up with those facts should be silenced for the greater good: ending racism. Facts that go against the narrative of absolutely everything being equal may hurt people.
