It’s a right wing disinformation factory. It’s where morons stand in line to drink from their trough of conspiracy theories. The GOP makes some pretty potent Kool-aid. Depends on the comparison. Both are U.S. cable news networks, so comparing them on criteria related to that would seem to be fair. Both are based in New York City and both were founded in 1996, so again criteria related to that would be a fair basis for comparison. They are owned by different parent companies – Fox Corp. and Comcast – depending on the comparison that might make them apples/oranges examples. Sure, when monkeys fly out of my butt. According to Nielsen’s 3Q ratings, Fox News prime time lineup averaged 2.189 million viewers while MSNBC only averaged 1.277 million viewers during prime time while CNN was dead last at a mere 717,000 viewers. Well-rounded, rational, informed people consume news from real, professional newsgathering organizations. That may include CNN, MSNBC, PBS, BBC, DW, Reuters, NPR, etc. Fox isn’t a news outlet but rather a dedicated propagandist (that’s regularly sued for lying and Fox tells the court it’s NOT news), so it wouldn’t qualify as either ‘news’ or ‘well-rounded’.
