Pakistan elections commission is not the final arbiter, it is the courts. Pakistan’s election commission is extremely corrupt institution and does not have the faintest idea of holding free and fair elections. If it did have any idea it would have known that supreme court had already made the decision in respect of its stance. Now it is appealing the high court decision when it has already been told they will not stand for elections not being free and fair. If there was any doubt left Islamabad High Court also spelt out the same message to attorney general. Not at all. At least not for me as I see political history of Pakistan.
