I called Samsung, and explained the story. She gave me the number of an authorized repair shop, U-Break-IFix, in Santa Ana, I called and talked with the owner, who told me he’d help. I returned to Metro, and they told me that they would only replace it with the same model, even though I told him what the repair guy said about it being old, with no parts for it. Now, I have to learn to use it with no owners manual. My girlfriend downloaded IPHONE FOR DUMMIES on her kindle, and we ordered a soft cover, which will be here next week. So, for years, I hesitated on buying an IPhone, because I didn’t want to learn a new platform. But, I’m through with Android, in particular, Samsung androids. I own my first Samsung since August. I have had Nokias, Motorolas, one Xiaomi and one Pixel. It is by far the best phone I’ve had. Specs are great, camera and screen are superb, design is beautiful, materials are high quality, and software is Android with some very useful additions. Original parts, accessories and repair shops available anywhere. Being a Samsung user myself, I can give you pros and cons of having one and pros and cons of Apple, both brands are one of the most bought phones. So from here you can try to figure out if you want a Samsung or an Apple. I personally chose Samsung because it is far cheaper than Apple. Samsung isn’t just the best smartphone maker. They make EVERYTHING. Washing machines, air conditioning, laptops etc. If it works on electricity, they make it. They made phones ever since cell reception was available. They made walkmans, cd players, boomboxes, home appliances from blenders to dishwashers and ovens and many many more.
